Honey Lime Fruit Salad

In the summer, there is nothing more refreshing than a big bowl of fruit salad. This is so easy to make that it’s barely a recipe, but the addition of honey and lime really elevates this fruit salad by adding a delicious sweet and tart flavor to the fruit. When making the salad pictured below, I used strawberries, blackberries, pineapple, and watermelon, but you can use any fruits that you like. Enjoy!

Honey Lime Fruit Salad

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

4 cups mixed fruit, chopped into bite size pieces

1 lime, zested and juiced

1 Tbsp. honey

Preparation

In a large bowl, add the honey, lime juice, and lime zest, and whisk together. Add the fruit, and toss to combine. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until serving.

Cook’s Note: I prefer a more tart flavor since the fruit is naturally sweet, but if you prefer a sweeter fruit salad, add another tablespoon of honey. If you don’t have honey, or if you are vegan, you could substitute agave syrup instead.
